Young Speakers Club

The Young Speakers Club is a platform for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students to develop their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills. The club aims to foster confidence, creativity, and critical thinking among students.

Objective Of Club

● To motivate the students to take part in various activities.

Description:

MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College, Alandi (D), Pune – The Young Speakers Club in association with the Arts and Commerce Department successfully organized the Student Parliament Meet–2025, a mock simulation of the South African Parliament. The event provided a dynamic and engaging platform for students to participate in structured debates, discussions, and decision-making processes. With 60 enthusiastic participants, including 15 designated MLAs, the event was a resounding success. The session commenced with an introduction to the objectives and significance of the Student Parliament. Participants actively debated on topics related to Social Welfare, Human Rights, and Environment & Energy Issues, showcasing their critical thinking and effective communication skills. Each participant was given a time limit of 3 to 5 minutes to present their viewpoints.
