The founder of MIT group of institutions, Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanath Karad with his vision to develop an excellent ambiance for academics and research conjugated with a vibrant environment to meet the challenges of the fiercely competitive world took initiative to impart quality education with easy access to the young generation and started MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College, Alandi Road, Pune, in 2007 under the aegis of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER) Pune, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

The location of the college offers a perfect blend of peaceful environment ideal for imparting knowledge. The college aspires and strives for excellence in education and research with committed, passionate, dedicated, innovative and experienced faculty through active learning, field visits, experts’ guidance, training programs, research guidance and support, and continuous assessment. The efforts are taken to offer a world-class infrastructure with latest technological advancements including excellent and latest library facilities for seamless academic activities.

Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration-International Business, Bachelor of Administration- Computer Application, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science-Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Application-Science, Bachelor of Science-Animation, and Master of Science-Computer Science, Master of Science-Computer Application, Master of Science-Industrial Mathematics with Computer Application, Master of Commerce, Master of Arts-Mass Communication and Journalism and Certificate Course in German.

The college recurrently organizes curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students.
