Library Services

Library Automation

Library uses Autolib software package which is integrated multi-user, multi-tasking library information software that supports all in-house operations of the library. The software extends the facilities like Catalogue, Circulation, Utility, Serial Control, and Acquisition. The database of books available in the library is being updated on a day to day basis.

Reference Services

On-demand reference service provided to the students & faculty members by using open source on the internet and Encyclopedia.

Circulation 

Issue & Return of reading material such as Books, Journal & Periodicals, Project Reports, multimedia, etc.

Internet Facility

Separate 3 computers for the students with internet connection provided to the students. Students can access and download information of their topic or interest subject.

Reading Hall Copy

Textbooks that are required frequently are kept in the reference section for reference within the library premises. These books can be used against I-Card.

Photocopy Facility

Photocopy facility also available for all readers.

Inter-Library Loan

MIT Arts Commerce and Science College libraries are connecting with each other and avail facility of interlibrary loan for any resources.

NPTEL Local Chapter Membership: 

We provide NPTEL Local chapter membership to all the students.

Catalogue

List of Books, Periodicals & Journals, E-Resources, etc available as on title wise, Author wise & Subject wise.

Clipping

Maintain Newspaper clipping file for an up-to-date record of information regarding new trend in Education.

Email Service

On-demand soft copy of Syllabus, Question Papers etc. provided to the students & faculty members by using email on the internet.

Information Display and notification

Library information such as New Arrivals, Library Rules, Journal List, Notices, and News Paper Clipping etc. are displayed on Library Notice Board from time to time.

Old Question Paper

The library provides a facility to its users to access old question paper and syllabus against I-card for reference in the library.
