Google Developer Group (GDG)
GDG on Campus MITACSC is a student-driven initiative that helps aspiring developers learn, collaborate, and grow with the latest technologies. With the motto "Connect, Learn, Grow," it focuses on building a strong developer community, enhancing skills, and preparing students for successful tech careers through hands-on experience with the latest technologies.

EVENT ORGANIZED
Orientation Session of GDG on Campus MITACSC
The Orientation Session for the Google Developer Group (GDG) at MITACSC was successfully organized by MIT ACSC in Alandi (D), Pune, on October 4, 2024. The event attracted approximately 81 eager students, all keen to gain insights into the club and its various initiatives. The session included a series of informative presentations aimed at familiarizing attendees with GDG, its upcoming projects, and opportunities for participation.
Ms. Vrushali Punde, the Chapter Organizer for GDG on Campus MITACSC, led the session, emphasizing the significance of the group. She covered essential topics, including the purpose of GDG, the role of GDG organizers, the Gen AI Study Jam, the announcement for core team recruitment, and the process for becoming a community member.
At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Vikas Mahnadule, Head of the Department, encouraged all students to actively engage in the upcoming activities of the GDG Club.

DESCRIPTION
The workshop was organized by Google Developer Group on campus by MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College Alandi on "Advanced Web Development Techniques". It had 376 registrations, with 93 students attending the session. The organizing team, led by Associate Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Sunil Mahajan, Event Coordinators Prof. Harsha Patil and Prof. Ashwini Satkar. Chapter Organizer Ms.Vrushali Punde played a vital role in ensuring the success of the workshop.

DESCRIPTION
The Solution Challenge Orientation Program was organized by Google Developer Groups on Campus MIT Ats, Commerce, and Science College, Pune on 16th Jan, 2025. The event was held
as part of the academic year 2024-2025 initiatives to inspire students to develop solutions for real-world challenges aligned with the SDGs.The program witnessed 245 registrations, out of which 115 students actively participated in the session. The event was led by the GDG ON CAMPUS Team, with the support of Chapter Organizer Ms. Vrushali Punde and Faculty Coordinators Prof. Harsha Patil and Prof. Ashwini Satkar. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sunil Mahajan, Associate Dean of Student Affairs.

DESCRIPTION
The Google Developer Groups at MAEERS’s MIT Arts Commerce and Science College in Alandi, Pune, hosted the “INNOVYUH HACKATHON 2025” on March 3, 2025. A total of 32 problem statements, along with one open innovation domain, were made available for participants. Students from various colleges submitted their idea prototypes through presentations. The event saw participation from 54 teams, resulting in 181 registrations from different institutions.
