Introduction
M.Sc. (Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications), in short M.Sc. (IMCA), formerly known as M.Sc. (Tech) (IMCA), MTech (IMCA) is a two years program. The main objective of this program is to create the trained manpower to handle the problems of industries/research and development sectors which demand advanced mathematical knowledge as well as computational skills. The changing scenario of higher education in India and abroad is taken into consideration to make this syllabus more oriented towards the applications of Mathematics and Computer Science in Research and Industry. The syllabus encompasses the subjects related to Industrial Mathematics, core computer subjects as well as the emerging technologies in Computer Science. Theory courses create the foundation for the development of logical thinking and the practical vourses give hands on experience towards the industrial requirements. The program follows the credit system of Savitribai Phule Pune University. 120 credits need to be obtained, for the successful completion of the program.
Program Objectives
- To introduce basic and important knowledge about annotations, terminology, geometrical gures and graphical displays.
- To develop relational understanding of mathematical concepts and structures with mathematical reasoning.
- To give exposure to global and local concerns so as to explore many aspects of Mathematical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the M.Sc.(Industrial Mathematics with Computer Application) program at MITACSC, the candidate should have:

Student from any graduation (with Mathematics up to second year) securing a minimum 50% of marks (45% for reserved category student as per the Maharashtra State Government Rules).

Admission Process
- An eligible student has to apply through the college application form for entrance examination conducted by the college. Admissions will be oered to students on the merit based on the average score of the entrance exam and the percentage of the graduation.
