Introduction
B.C.A. program is a full time three years degree program with six semesters. It is based on Choice-based credit system containing 140 credit points. B.C.A. (Science) program is a combination of computer and applied courses from science stream. Computer related courses introduce techniques of programming, databases, web designing, system analysis, design tools, data mining, and different computing environments. Applied courses include mathematics, statistics and electronics that provide theoretical foundation of the program.
Program Objectives
- To develop sound academic base for computer application.
- To produce knowledgeable and skilled human resources that are employable in IT and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services).
- To impart knowledge required for planning, designing and building Complex Application Software Systems as well as to provide support for automated systems or applications.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the BCA(Science) program at MITACSC, the candidate should have:

Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination in Science stream from recognized board.

Three-Years Diploma Course (after S.S.C.) of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
